The joys of getting blood drawn

All workers receive a state ordered physical which includes drawing blood. Last August I entered a room where 6 different technicians were drawing blood. The one I was directed to was the only one who did not have a band to wrap around my arm.

I said, "I'll wait."

"No, no, have a seat."

I sat. He asked me to use my left hand to squeeze my right arm. I did. He poked in the needle and drew the blood with no problem.

Although it was painless it was still an unpleasant experience. Which helps explain the next post...
