E-mail of the day

I received an e-mail with this comment:
I hope that Iowans aren't as horribly prejudiced as you portrayed them on your blog.

I had no intention of portraying Iowans as "horribly prejudiced." And I apologize to the people of Iowa if I have.

I simply believe are Iowans are no less prejudiced than Californians... a state that voted down gay marriage. In fact, gay marriage has been voted down in every election but one in Arizona in 2006. And I believe that was overturned by another vote in 2008. (I'm not 100% on these facts. I'd appreciate corrections if necessary.)
