I've recently engaged a friend who believes the end of the world is likely near. I'm not very confident. Is it possible that we will fry the planet over the next 100 years, but many will still be alive. (That's cheery.) I simply don't believe anything short of an asteroid is going to end all life.Well, I guess I should have watched what I asked for. Apparently a comet is on it's way. I wonder if Prince will release a new single, "Party like it's 2011."
there is a lot of writing on this you cna google it using mayan claender or 2012. I have a friend how has told everyone he is not gettng married because the world will end in 2012- it is around Dec 20-21 or so - at least that what research on the subject suggests. If it does not blow up he will marry into a harem to make up for lost time!! he is in his 40's!!. On another note coincidently the hindu calender also shows the world having a majot change/ disaster on/ around precisely the same time Dec 2012. It is an interesting subject- you don't suppose swinr flu is a precursor

There are several things that point to a major change in the world (be it the end or a shift in global thinking) around 12-21-12. I'm reading a book on it now and it is fascinating. Certainly doesn't make me want to save for retirement.
