Sadly, the most I do for recycling in this country is keep my plastic water bottles. A friend's daughter's school collects plastic for recycling.I'm pretty sure giving her my glass beer bottles and cardboard Bud boxes wouldn't go over so well.
I thought America was a "disposable society" until I came here. This country has the US beat. From McDonald's ridiculous over sacking to the lack of recycling bins (I've seen one in 14 months... and that was sponsored by Coke), it's hard to be green.
