The college had a meeting followed by an outdoor buffet. I sat next to a guy who worked at Southern Illinois for several years. He said, "I'll bet nobody's eating outside in Iowa tonight."
Well you might be surprised there! It has been VERY nice weather these last few days. I was in Illinois and we hit 75 one day this past weekend. Today continued to be nice - although a tad chillier - I think we were in the low to mid-60s here in Minnesota. I would bet a lot of people are eating out tonight in Iowa!
So it's a little too early to start rubbing it in that we have better weather here? I knew of the great weather over the weekend but I thought that had passed.
Oh well, there's plenty of time in the next 3 months...
