Lights were installed and the fridge is looking great! I'll post pics of the finished product once I get all the shelves cleaned.
Scraping the rust off is very time consuming. I'm almost done with the one on the left. Once I have the rust off is it worth painting them? If so, what kind of paint? I'm very ignorant on these things.
Sorry to leave you with such a mess on your hands! Can't wait to see it all fixed, though!
ReplyDeleteNothing to be sorry about! It's a great gift and I can't wait to have it completely refurbished. It will take a little more time as the work on the shelves is time consuming.
ReplyDeleteOddly, the workers had no desire to do this work. Manual labor for which they know I pay well and it would be in air conditioning. Perhaps it was a language barrier issue. I'm not sure.
