A friend received a job offer that will increase his salary by more than 50%. He's been struggling to pay the bills for his young family. While he won't be rich he won't be worrying about money to put gas in the car. I am very happy for him. It made my day, actually.
I'm sure my friends were equally happy for me last year.
Oh wait, his job takes him to Iowa City, not the middle east.
