I loved Rachel Maddow's response last night to Jindahl. It was basically what mine was - speechless. And yes, I know that doesn't occur very often...
To invoke Katrina as a reason not to trust the government - when HIS party was the one that screwed everything up majorly during that situation just boggles my mind. HELLO? W. is not president anymore and you actually have someone in there who is intelligent and cares about what happens to poor people and people of color. If Katrina happened today, I guarantee you that Obama would handle it way better even though he's only been in office a month. Heck, I could have handled it way better!
My understanding is that this guy is an "up and coming" Republican who has his sights set on the Republican nominee. Well, if he wins the nomination I think we can all rest easy. Obama will be a two-term president.
