98.1

It's not my temperature, it's my weight.  I bought a nice digital scale to better track my weight gain.  I won't convert it for you but I was happy I didn't break 100.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do lose weight.  I don't exercise and it's now getting hot enough that long walks or jogging is not realistic.  There are several health clubs but I know I won't go.  Plus it angers me to have to pay more at one of these clubs because I am single male.

  1. Can you buy home exercise equipment fairly reasonable there? Like a bike or treadmill?

  2. Stop the following: all alcoholic beverages, all fast food. But I am sure you know that is where most of your weight gain is coming from. Start cooking for yourself and not eating out. Lots of fish, veggies and salads. Aren't you diabetic? You should be eating those good things anyway. I think you are being lazy by not cooking. I know it is easier not to have to bother with cooking.....but do you want to lose weight or not? And stop making excuses for not exercising. In the weight loss chat room I am in, we rip people new ones for whining about all the reasons they can't exercise/lose weight/eat right, etc. You are a smart man, Steve. Do what is right. Can you log onto Weight Watchers over there? I have friends who swear by their points program.

  3. I'm not diabetic.

I'm not obsessed with my weight but I'd like to lose a few pounds, that's all.

I could always take extra thyroid medicine... kidding, just kidding.

    I think.

Actually, if I'd just remember to take it every day I'd probably be much thinner.

  4. I knew it was either diabetes or thyroid. Picked the wrong one. You know, I am sure, how wrong it is to skip your thyroid meds. Are you that much of a daredevil to risk what it can do to your overall health? And have you been tested recently for diabetes?

  5. Simple, you could just throw up everything you eat.

Although there tend to be side effects.
