Tonight I attended my first hockey game - at the end of the season. Al Ain beat the arrogant Dubai team on a goal with a minute to go... in other words, about as exciting as hockey can get.
On the menu in the arena restaurant? Wine leaves. I'll bet there's not an arena in America with wine leaves! (I've seen them on the menu in Greek restaurants. I'm not a fan.)Not on the menu? Beer, of course. I think this is my first hockey match without it. Oh well, I couldn't have had any on the low carb diet anyway...
