A London newspaper has 50 facts about Obama. This one took me by surprise:

One of the other facts was that he only paid off his student loans four years ago. For some reason I like that.

He SMOKES? Wow, how did that not get any press time? Political junkie that I am, I knew several of those - not the smoking thing, though. But I did learn some things. I like that he just paid his student loans off 4 years ago too - makes him more like a "regular person" - and he can relate to having debt.
ReplyDeleteHow much is a good suit? I have absolutely no idea. A neighbor of ours was upset that he missed a one-day sale where it was buy 1, get 2 free suits - he said these suits were typically like $1000 each. So, is $1500 for a suit considered really pricey for a U.S. Senator? I'm honestly asking because we don't buy suits around here!
At alll the events I saw him I thought he wore what looked like a cheap suit. I would never have thought he paid $1500 for them.
