
Everywhere I went in Kiev I saw brides and grooms at the tourist sites. Most had no more than a couple of people with them. According to Lonely Planet it is customary for the couple to spend the day being photographed. Yeesh, glad I don't have that job.

Check out the sashes on the couple to the right. All the best man's and maids of honor wore them.

I took this picture and not more than 30 seconds later another bride and groom came through.

I'm only posting four pictures but I could have easily posted a dozen. These weddings were on a Friday, but I saw couples pretty much every day of the week. Not sure what's up with that.
It sounds like that with a supermajority, even I may have a chance there ;)
