The card is not in the mail. I'm not sure how to mail anything from here... but, thanks to the summer school, mom, I'll be able to pay back the money you lent me.

I appreciate that, but the chance to make primo extra cash is something I can't pass by. Pay off money I owe you and some credit card debt? That's a dream come true.
Trust me. Each and every day I will be thinking about how much I miss Iowa, family, Gus, and friends. I'm trying to think long term here. Only by doing this can I work here 3 years and accept a job at Kirkwood. All of the debt demons will be paid off and I can afford my mortgage on a Kirkwood salary.
Steve, I would much rather have you home than the money you owe me. Money just isn't that important. I miss you terribly.
