Nepal Day 7 - Jeep Safari

Our walking trip only took us to about 5% of the park. We took the jeep ride to see if the rest of the park was like the part we had walked.
It was very beautiful but the answer was a lot more of the same.
Here are more localss getting what they can out of the forest during the one week they are allowed in.

The forest was a lush green even though it hadn't rained in two months. The monsoon months of June-September provide pretty much the only water this region gets all year long.

I'm fascinated by these trees with triangular trunks.

There's a crocodile sunning himself in the late afternoon.

The late afternoon sun made this stop very peaceful. The tour guide spending the entire break talking on the phone did not.
