If it makes you feel any better I arrived at the desert cleanup site at 7AM wearing only a long sleeved shirt and I was cold!
All joking aside, my thoughts are with my Iowa friends as they endure ice and seven inches of snow over the next 24 hours. Even with this storm Iowa is still better off than it was a year ago.
Then again, that's not saying much.
My father - who may be more of a weather geek than I am - can remember 70 Iowa winters. Last year he said it was the worse winter of his life.
That means something to me.
