Unfortunately, the internet has been down all day. Now I'm headed to a house warming party... meaning the daily Nepal update will be delayed...
Update: Apparently a cable was cut by a submarine. It was an outage. A few websites worked while 90% of the ones I tried like Google, AOL, my blog, etc. didn't.
The house warming was nice. The couple had been living in hotels for the past 4 months. There apartment was beautiful and well constructed. It's encouraging to know that their are new, well constructed apartments in this city. It's reason for hope that we will be able to get out of this firetrap apartment.
