A congresswoman nobody has ever heard of announced her retirement. It's a safe Republican seat so the impact of her resignation will be zero.

Hmmm...someone must have caught on that she is really John Lithgow.
Maybe it takes a major fan of World According to Garp to find that funny.
It took me a second. I'm a fan of the book and haven't seen the movie in its entirety. But I remember the character that Lithgow played and there is a slight resemblance anyway. LOL.
