I’m a fan of Max Baucus. That’s what makes this video all the more painful.
Everything he says is true which just makes the point that people are a lot more honest when they’re drunk.
Remember, Baucus is the guy who gave Grassley's grandson a donation when the kid ran for the Iowa House. The only thing missing in this video is Baucus saying, "Chuck, I love you, man."

ReplyDeleteMy proof is watching the man when he's sober - very cautious and is able to enunciate - and watching him in the video... very animated and slurring his words. In the video he uses terminology he doesn't use normally. And his passion for Chuck is much more expressive than he normally expresses on the Finance committee.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I don't think anyone's ever tried to give a senator a breathalyser on the senate floor so I doubt it can ever be proven one way or the other.
