Pork chops

I've lived here for 8 months and had not purchased pork chops because they look gray in the store. I'm not a fan of any meat that is gray.

Today I took the plunge and bought boneless pork loin chops. They were shockingly good.

Unfortunately, neither of the pork shops had American bacon. The mashed potatoes were good but would have been better with crispy bacon.

I love to cook. I hate to do dishes. A guy leaving the country sent an e-mail saying he was selling a dishwasher. I called and offered to come right over to look at it. He said he would sell it to the first person who met his price of about $150. I said I wanted to see it first. I arrived at his place in short order only to learn that another person agreed to buy it sight unseen. It was a really, really nice dishwasher.
