For most roller coasters the beginning of the ride is boring. You ride to the top of a big hill and the rest of the ride is based on gravity.
On the Formula Rossa, the best part of the ride is the beginning: Passengers are shot out on a catapult like that used on aircraft carriers. Going from 0 to 150 MPH in 5 seconds is an adrenaline rush in itself. The rest of the ride is icing on the cake.
You know how much I love roller coasters and can ride and enjoy the best of them - I don't know if I could do this one! I would be afraid of getting off with wet pants!
ReplyDeleteThis country has much less to offer than Cabo. If you do come over I will take you to this park. We'll have to have a personally designed shirt, "I survived the world's fastest roller coaster!" because there were none in the gift shop.
ReplyDeleteI always wanted to go to the U.A.E. to get a world's fastest roller coaster t-shirt! However, at my age, I won't suffer a scratched cornea - it will probably detach my retinas. Hope your eye is healing.
