Understanding John McCain

A close friend is a John McCain supporter.  From his life in Arizona he assured me that McCain is no homophobe since he personally knew people on McCain's staff who were out.

The following post is from Andrew Sullivan, who also liked McCain.  He is very perplexed that this guy is now leading the charge against repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell."
