Menopause is a bitch. A quick update on the gastrointestinal front: I got Cipro and I hope it will work. I canceled classes for tomorrow and I’m going to sleep in. I have definitely developed a fever, but it’s very odd. It’s alternating between being teeth-chattering cold to developing a flop sweat. And back and forth.

Just a thought, but maybe your system takes a while to adjust every time you go back to the UAE. I know our FDA takes a lot of flack, but are there any safety or health/sanitation standards in that country? Or is it like Mexico where it's not uncommon to share your lunch with an orange cockroach on the table?
