On the way back to CR I was surprised to see black smoke billowing out of the coal electric plant.
I drove by and the sound was deafening. A loud roar should not be scary but this was. With all the steam and smoke it seemed like the entire plant was about to explode. Several cars stopped along with me to take a look. The Gazette published a "nothing to worry about" story. Yeah, right. No problem for those with asthma. I'm just glad the wind was from the north taking it away from my place.
