Chapter 7 starts by telling the sotry of Steve Witkoff. Witkoff had traveled to Russia where Putin sold him on business opportunities in Russia. He commissioned a painting of Trump from the day of teh attempted assadination. hen Witkoff returned Trump loved it so he called Putin for 90 minutes and then called Zelensky to try to browbeat him into surrendering.Meanwhiile Bessent tried to force Zelensky to sign a deal handing over all mineral rights. Zelensky told him to fuck off.
Chapter 8: Here comes Bibi! He was the first foreign leader to visit in early February 2026. Netanyahu laid the groundwork of convincing Trump to go to war with Iran. Tucker Carlson later visited with Elon. Elon was excited to play with the pagers that had killed so many Hezbollah leaders - a souvenir Bibi left. Tucker's repeated message: DO NOT ATTACK IRAN.
Trump initially told everyone the ballroom would be near the East Wing. The bunker - where the President is to be taken in case of an emergency is under the East Wing. Trump didn't care.
Chapter 9 - Elon starts going rogue. Before the infamous Zelensky meeting at the White House, Howard Lutnick and Scott Bessent both met with Zelensky. Scott got a deal where Ukraine supposedly agrees to hand over all mineral rights to the US. Howard only got an agreement for $500 billion. Trump's racist response? "I thought you Jews from New York were supposed to be tough, Howard."
Trump loved the blowup in the Oval Office. He thought it would give him higher ratings than the Apprentice.
Chapter 10: The story of deciding tariffs was every bit as haphazard as reported at the time. The notion that Trump should be taken "seriously but not literally" was over. Here is acting on his insane ideas.
Chapter 11: 140 Executive Orders in the first 100 days but only 5 pieces of legislation. Stephen Miller called in 15 oil execs and asked what could be done to help them. He asked for a list of 10 laws/regulations the White House would end to help them. It stunned the execs... Miller was asserting that the President with executive authority was essentially the entire US government. In one meeting they said to ignore the rule not to drill in north slop Alaska - much to the surprise/delight of the Ryan Lance, CEO of ConocoPhillips. Existing laws be damned.
Chapter 12: Elon overplays his hand by attacking Secretary of State Rubio and Secretary of Transportation Duffy in front of Trump. After Trump "clipped his wings" by tweeting that from on government cuts would be with a scalpel not a hatchet.
Chapter 13: Preparing for "Liberation Day." Navarro's formula proved he is as stupid as everyone thought he was. Lutnick didn't like it "because I graduated ninth grade math." Bessent joked it was "Libation Day"
Trump on Lutnick: "You used to be a killer, Howard. I remember when you were 35 and you were a killer. And now you've got a beautiful wife, and your big house, and you're just soft. And you're a pussy. You know what you are? You're a pussy."
After all markets tanked Trump pulled a TACO and said he'd pause the tariffs for 90 days on all countries except China.
Chapter ends with a great depiction of the Bessent-Musk fight that escalated from "Fuck you's" to shoving. Gay takes on the queer guy.
