McD's gave me five ketchup packets today. That got me thinking...
On average, for the past 25 years I have ate fast food at least four times per week. That's 4 visits * 52 weeks * 25 years = 5200 stops.
On average I get two ketchup packets per visit that I don't use.
That's over 10,000 wasted ketchup packets.
The above numbers are conservative. During the four years I worked weather I averaged more than 10 fast food stops per week.
Dude, TAKE CONTROL of your take-away. I refuse bags, straws, secondary bags, tertiary bags, vinegar packets, extra ketchup, whatever I don't want. Do the same, UNLESS YOU WANT TO DUMP ON MOTHER EARTH! Of course, eating fast food this often is its own problem. Have a bean sprout wrap. Or a nice soy-falafel-bee pollen goulash.
ReplyDeleteYour cholesterol is how high? I would hardly say that ketchup packets are the worst things you take away from fast food.
ReplyDeleteI keep them and then use them for lunches. Between my children and my husband they come in handy and I don't have to buy as much.
